SUMMARY

  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with Treasurer, Treasury Staff, Superintendent and Associate Superintendents, other departments and external stakeholders.
  • Create and implement training to central office and building administrators on treasurer office and district policies.
  • Collaborate with Financial Systems Analysts to create analysis and reports for presentation to various audiences.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(Incumbent performs a majority of the following duties)

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Implements clinical supervision models to support nonpublic school programming in monitoring and evaluating the implementation of equitable services for ESSA Consolidated Grants (nonpublic portion) – Title I, Title II-A, Title III, Title IV-A, Title IV-B, and any other federal funds.

 

  1. Assists in facilitating and planning Nonpublic Consultation Meetings.

 

  1. Conduct site visits to monitor Title I nonpublic instructional services with third-party contractor.

 

  1. Works in collaboration with nonpublic school officials to facilitate, implement, and support ongoing equitable services requirements.

 

  1. Maintains and completes data input within the Nonpublic Data System (NPDS).

 

  1. Provides leadership role in communicating and interpreting federal and state guidelines for the district and the nonpublic schools.

 

  1. Provides guidelines, directions, and expertise to district administrators and nonpublic school officials in budgeting, expenditure processing, and the ongoing fiscal management of the nonpublic portion of ESSA funds and Auxiliary Services funds.

 

  1. Assists nonpublic school administrators and/or third-party contractor implementing Title I programming with the ongoing monitoring and supervision of site-based parent and family engagement requirements.

 

  1. Ensure nonpublic inventory is accurate and updated for ESSA programs and Auxiliary Services.

 

  1. Provides ongoing consultation with nonpublic school officials to determine proper equitable services.

 

  1. Performs other duties as directed by the Director of Office of Federal Programs.

 

  1. And all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree with certification in reading, math, or curriculum and instruction.
  • Five (5) years teaching experience.
  • Working knowledge of federal and state regulations governing elementary and secondary education programs required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience required.
  • Evidence of leadership experience and/or training.
